EarFun Air 2 NC - White

EarFun Air 2 NC Wireless Earbuds - not to be confused with EarFun Air 2. The main difference is the noise cancelling.

First thing to notice is how small is the case, I love the simplicity and that for this price can be wireless charged. The case can be also charged via the USB C to A included cable. The case and earbuds would offer 40 hours of play time.

The earbuds are sitting well in my ears out of the box, you could try the other included ear tips (xs, small, medium, large). I have used them for more than 3 hours and haven't had any ear fatigue.

To connect them with my phone (android) I had to install the EarFun app and create an account. The app allows you to customise the NC, sound via the Equaliser or via the already customise sound modes.

There's a gaming mode, low latency.

With the touch controls you can control everything, NC, volume, play, stop, forward track, reverse track. Can answer or reject calls, and many more. It has 6 ai mics that works really well during phone call and also helps with the NC.

The ambient mode works really well, I can hear around and have a conversation with people.

The NC is decent, a bit better than what you get with Galaxy buds 2 Pro. Not as good as you would get with Bose or Sony. While travelling to work I've noticed that I only had to trun on NC and play music with the volume upnto 50% to completely block the surrounding sound.

In terms of sound quality, these are really good and even better when enabling the LDAC codec. I prefer listening to the default mode.

The EarFun Air 2 NC are a great pair of earbuds. They offer good sound quality, effective noise cancellation, long battery life, and a comfortable fit. The earbuds also support wireless charging (Although I have no way of testing this). While they are a bit bulky, they are still a solid choice for anyone looking for a pair of high-quality wireless earbuds. I have another set of ear buds from a very popular and famous brand and these more than comare to those.

When first connecting to my phone all I had to do was open the ear buds case and my phone detected them and asked if I wanted to download the Earfun App. The app itself seems easy to navigate and has lots of settings and options for noise cancellation and equalisatrion.

My only issue if you could call it that is given the shape and feel of the buds they can be very hard to pull out from teh case. The lid from of the case does fold back far enough giving not to much to grasp on the buds. This is a monor annoyance and doesn't take away from the overall performace of the buds.

To preface this review, I’ve had a few pairs of earphones from Amazon in recent times and I normally mention something in the review about the sound being quite decent but that I’m never quite sure about it’s actual quality as I lack the experience of a true audiophile. However, with these EarFun Air 2 NC earbuds, even I, as a casual listener, could tell that the output was over and above the sound produced through any of the earbuds I had ever bought before!

I can't say that an absolute audiophile would agree about the outstanding quality of the sound, but, to my untrained ear, there was definitely a clarity and richness of sound that I hadn’t experienced before. They also pack quite a punch for their price! The noise cancelling works pretty well, especially for constant sounds like traffic, and the sound quality is solid, with punchy bass and excellent clarity (I heard details in songs that I had never heard before!).

They're really easy to pair with a phone, and the freely downloadable app lets you tweak the sound to your liking in a huge variety of different ways (cue hour of fiddling with sliders and settings). I love the sleek design too - build quality is good and they look the business!

A small point to mention is that the battery life can be affected by what you have activated on these. For instance, it's good for general use, but if you've turned on noise cancelling and LDAC it means they last less time before needing a recharge (charging is pretty quick, though, to be fair). Despite this minor point (which I'm sure happens with many advanced feature buds), I’m really really impressed with these.

They’re a fantastic buy (if you don’t mind topping them up throughout the day for prolonged use with additional features activated), and even thought I hadn't tried the EarFun brand before, I'll be a happy and interested buyer in the future based on these brilliant buds! Show Full Review

These wireless earbuds have quickly become must-have companion for my outdoor adventures like hill walking and camping. The sound quality is fantastic, striking just the right balance between deep bass and crisp highs, making every trek up Bennachie or even mundane tasks like mowing the lawn much more enjoyable. I particularly appreciate the noise cancelling feature, which does a commendable job in crowded areas or when the kids are being noisy at home. It diminishes the external sound coming through, reducing the distractions and allows me to get lost in my favourite soundtracks!

The flip side is that I’ve noticed the reduced battery life, especially when using features like noise cancelling or LDAC streaming. For longer outings, I definitely have to plan ahead. Fortunately, the compact charging case makes up for this and holds enough power for up to 40 hours of playtime, which is a lifesaver when I'm out and about and can’t easily find a plug or power bank. Having that much backup gives me confidence on longer trips, and just 10 minutes of charging gives me up to 2 hours of additional playtime depending on variables like volume and audio settings.

The connection reliability is another highlight - even if I leave my phone in another room, the sound remains strong and clear without any drops. The earbuds fit comfortably, though I do find the slim case design makes them a little tricky to pull out.

On the whole, they offer great sound quality, reliable features, and a solid experience, making them more than capable of handling my day-to-day and outdoor activities. Show Full Review
