EarFun Free Pro 3 - Navy Blue

I have had almost every high end earbud, and while the sound is slightly better, with the software app and it's equalizer you can tune these to YOUR expectations of a wonderful sound stage. I have been using some old WF500 Sony as they are cheap, great sound for the money. But I wanted wireless charging which is hard to find for under $100. So I bought the Earfun pro 3 which weren't bad. But the sensitive touch controls are tiny and will drive you made. I traded these back in for the EarFun Free Pro 3 buds. They blew me away. They have wireless charging case ! a great app that allows you to customize and the BIG one for me was the large touch area that you can easy control. As an E bike rider, there are times you need to swipe and have the sound stop (no problem) or hold the touch pad for 3 seconds and have the assistant on your phone asking you for command. I never write reviews...but I have been searching for soooo long and these buds are worth every penny of the $80 bucks I spent. Coming from some FIIL T1XS, my biggest concern about getting new earbuds was getting similar fitment as my ears really liked the wing tip setup of the FIIL earbuds. So after some research, found out that Earfun uses the same OEM as the FIIL, and this specific model has almost the same physical body shape made the purchase easy, even disregarding all the other advertised features and whatnot. To no one's surprise, the earbuds with the correct wing tip fit perfectly in my ear. I don't see them falling out unless someone punched me on the side of my head.

The sound quality was excellent and there was nothing wrong that I can complain about regarding how it sounds, but I'm not a true audiophile or anything. Coming from earbuds that didn't have noise cancelling, the feature is pretty nice to have when roaming around outside or through a busy store. I imagine that higher end earbuds will perform better in that department, cause I certainly wouldn't take these over my Sony XM4 headphones on an airplane trip. I don't know how well the tech is on modern true wireless earbuds, so I can't benchmark these Earfuns against those, but I know for certain that those better performing ones are more expensive.

I can only speak on the earbud app as coming from the FIIL one, that it is worlds better with the Earfuns, with all the customization and EQ adjustments you can make. Show Full Review

Buys these- and break up with your Air Pods Pro. Sorry Apple- but you need to up your game. I love the form and function of all Apple products, but my Air Pod Pro gotta go.

I have had Apple Air Pods since they launched and upgraded to Air Pods Pro when they launched.
They have been great (when using Apple Universe) for listening to content or music and blocking out the world. But they simply suck when it comes to phone conversations- people constantly say they can't hear me, or it sounds like I am in a wind tunnel- not acceptable for over $200 product.
And they don't play nice with non- iOS operating system computers.

Reason for Purchase: Improved quality of Teams calls via my work computer and functionality to work in more than just iOS universe- Apple portfolio of products.

Setup: It was easy and immediate out of the box.

Connectivity: The EarFun Free Pro 3- are stellar as they connect to 2 devices simultaneously- my iPhone and my Windows OS work laptop. Didn't know this was possible...
- Easy connection process and stays connected doesn't drop right before a Teams meeting that I am facilitating.
- When I walk away from desk while in office, the phone assistant will tell me I've disconnected and when I get back that I am connected. Seamless

Sound Quality: Snapdragon and Qualcomm aptX adaptive components. They work!!
- Everyone on my teams calls and phone calls say I sound great like I am talking right into the microphone, and I can hear them clearly as well.
- I am not producing a record album so the Treble/Bass configuration isn't my priority.
- I listen to content, audio books, music, phone conversations and video streaming for work.
- For my diverse needs they hit it out of the park!

Charge: I use my all the time during the day.
- I do take them out and put them in the case, as I personally can't have something in my ears for 8 hours a day- I would get a headache.
- I just keep the case charged; so they are always ready to go when I need them.
- the case is rectangular and slim and not slippery so easy to find in bag, purse or pocket as it is unique shape.

Fit: There are several options to customize the silicon ear tip to make it work for you.
They lay flat in the ear which is great if you wanted to wear a hat or need to listen to biurnal beats while sleeping.

I have used the Earfun Air Pro 2 and 3 previously. In fact I'm listening to music on my 3s as I write this. They are great for general purpose listening, and the quality is fantastic with good fidelity across the spectrum and punchy base for their size. They are shaped similar to ear pods, relying on friction to hold the ear bud in place.

While flying to Vegas for CES 2024, one earbud fell out and it took 30 minutes and 3 people to find it on the floor of the airplane. I thought there had to be a better solution that locks into the ear better. During CES, I actually ran into the manufacturer and told them my primary complaint: The simplistic friction fit would push out during exercise due to sweat and heat, or simply over time. They showed me this version, the Free Pro 3. I tried a demo unit and it securely locked into my ear. I purchased a pair that day.

I previously used Bose Soundsport Wireless earbuds for running/endurance events. They have silicone wingtips that lock into your ear, and they hold in your ear indefinitely. My issue with the Bose was they are far overpriced and the sound did not justify the price point. They also often failed to charge, and I'd go for a run only to realize my headphones were dead. To get the latest generation of Bose earbuds, it would be north of $300. Instead I bought these, and I haven't had an issue since. I use the wireless charger in my car to keep them topped off. I was a bit skeptical about getting these earbuds because of the price range (you get what you pay for) and because I've never heard of EarFun until I found them on Amazon. To my surprise, they have not disappointed! The battery life has been really good, the sound quality has been really good and they stay in my ears! The case and the buds are compact compared to the other brands I've tried. I have yet to really test the noise cancelling ability of these buds, but I will get to that at a later date. Good price and really good sound quality combined with great fit... How can you go wrong?!*Update. After a few weeks of trying these out I discovered they hurt my ears.
